i need help with a geometry question? just how to set up the problem.?
parallel drainage pipes are laid on each side of Polaris Street. A pipe under the street connects the two pipes. The connector pipe makes a 65 degree agle. What is the measure of the angle it makes with the pipe on the other side of the street?
How do i set up the problem to work it and figure?
It is based upon the simple theorem of supplementary angles for a line that intersects 2 || lines. The ans: (180-65)=115 degrees. that is the obtuse angle, however. the acute angle made here is 65 degree too.
