I'd would like to ask what amps It should be in my kitchen gfci. receptacles 15amp or 20amp.?
15 amp would probably be sufficient, but I put 20 amp in mine because I always do more than necessary for normal use. How much does it cost to use 12 GA as opposed to 14 GA wire? Not much in my opinion.
Addition: Of course you need to match the circuit breaker to the wire size and that would mean using a 20 AMP breaker for the 12 GA wire. I based my answer on the assumption that you were referring to misc. counter top outlets. I would run dedicated circuits to the dishwasher, garbage, disposal, electric oven, and refrigerator.
