how to wire a dpdt switch to leds to change between colors?

i want to add a switch to my leds to change colors i have two different sets of leds connected in my xbox 360 and want to add a switch so i can change from one color to another but i dont know how to connect them to change please help i seen it done on youtube but the guy didnt show how he did it thank you

In Lawrence's circuit, you can use a single pole 2- way (SPDT) if you place it in the negative side, negative to the common terminal.
Then connect each set of LED's to each of the 2- way contacts.
